Property Tax Payment Drop Boxes Open March 16 - April 30
The entire year’s property tax is due on or before April 30. You may choose to pay half by April 30 and half by October 31 (if applicable). Just remember, the postmark is considered the received date for interest calculations and late penalties. Make sure to have your tax payments dropped in the mail prior to April 30 to ensure it is postmarked in time.

In an effort to limit the need to visit offices in person to pay property taxes, the Benton County Treasurer's Office will be opening drop boxes beginning today (March 16, 2020). The drop boxes are designated for property tax payments made by check. Drop boxes are located at the Kennewick Annex (5600 W Canal Drive, Kennewick) and the Prosser Courthouse (620 Market Street, Prosser).

You can also pay online or in person.
