Tip of the Month: Back to School Safe Driving Tips: It's that time of year again; kids are returning to school and the big yellow buses are back on the road. As you can imagine, having a bus full of kids can be stressful at times. These are ways that you can help make the bus driver's life a little easier and keep the kids safe. Be sure when driving behind a bus that you allow for more space between you and the bus than you would a regular passenger vehicle. This will allow for plenty of time to stop when the yellow lights starts flashing. If the yellow or red lights are flashing that means all traffic must slow down and stop. Make sure to stop far enough away from the bus to allow for children to safely get on and off the bus. As we all know children can be unpredictable and don't always pay attention to their surroundings.
Be Alert! Be Safe!
