Our Mission: The Benton County Road Department strives to provide the highest quality roadway and infrastructure to the public through prudent use of resources, technology, innovation, and teamwork.
Our Vision: Working for the community to establish and maintain an exceptional road and public works infrastructure system through dedicated staff, effective construction, rigorous maintenance, and exemplary service.
Tip of the Month: Winter Driving Tips: Winter is finally here and with that comes icy and snowy roads. Keep a winter survival kit in your vehicle at all times. This includes an ice scraper, snow shovel, sand/salt, and a pair of gloves. Always make sure to remember to clear snow and ice off your car before driving (Hood, roof, windows, mirrors and lights)
When driving on icy roads make sure to drive at a low speed. Give yourself lots of room between cars and brake gently when needed. If you start sliding, release your brakes and turn into the slide. This will help correct the car from sliding and get you straight again.
